Getting started
Install & activate, the half‑hour setup
My T Maker works out of the box, install it, drop one shortcode on a page, and the designer is live.
Out of the box you get the standard tee, the full text tools, and the art library. Everything after that is personalization, not setup.
1. Install
- In WordPress admin, go to Plugins ▸ Add New ▸ Upload Plugin.
- Choose
my-t-maker.zip, click Install Now, then Activate. - Enter your license key. Open the My T Maker menu and paste the key from your purchase email into the activation screen. Until the license is activated, the designer shows a friendly “not switched on yet” card to visitors instead of the designer. Activation makes it appear instantly, no other steps.

2. Put the designer on a page
Create or open any page and add the shortcode:
tshirt_designer
Publish. That’s it, the designer is live. Full width pages look best; the designer fits any container down to phone width.
3. Make it yours
Open My T Maker ▸ Settings and set the three things every shop wants first:
- Quote email, where customer quote requests land. Set it to the inbox you actually watch.
- Buy button text: “Buy Your Shirt”, “Get a Quote”, whatever fits how you sell.
- Print area width, the real printed width of your standard platen (default 12″). This drives the 📏 print-size readout your customers see.
Then open My T Maker ▸ Appearance if you want the designer wearing your colors on day one, six color pickers, light/dark look, and ready-made theme presets. Details in Match your brand.
You’re done, what’s next
- Selling through your cart? Checkout setup connects garments to WooCommerce products.
- Just quoting? You already are, quote requests arrive with mockups and the design attached.
- Want the full tour first? The designer, feature by feature and The admin pages, tab by tab.
