Terms of Service

The terms covering your purchase and use of the My T Maker WordPress plugin.

Last updated: August 19, 2026

These terms cover your purchase and use of the My T Maker WordPress plugin (“the Software”), sold by Chattanooga Tshirt LLC, of Chattanooga, Tennessee (“we”, “us”). By purchasing or using the Software you agree to them.

1. What you’re buying

A software license, not a service dependency. The Software installs and runs on your own WordPress site. Your customer designs, orders, and analytics data are stored on your server and belong to you. We never take a percentage of your sales.

The live demo on mytmaker.com is there so you can try the Software before buying. Designs, quotes and cart adds made in the demo are test data, not orders; we may clear them at any time.

2. License

My T Maker’s PHP code is licensed under the GPL-2.0 (or later), consistent with the WordPress ecosystem. The bundled creative assets (the built-in art library, fonts, images, and stylesheets) and the My T Maker name and logo are proprietary, licensed to you for use on your licensed site only, and may not be redistributed, resold, or bundled into other products.

Each license activates the Software on one production site per license purchased (staging and development copies for that site are fine). Your license plan (Starter, Advanced, Pro) determines which features unlock; plans are described on the pricing page. Product updates, support, and license services are provided per-site to active license holders only.

3. Renewals & expiration

Licenses renew annually until cancelled. The renewal price is shown before you pay, and your first charge only happens after you’ve seen it. You can cancel auto‑renewal any time from your account dashboard, cancelling is as easy as subscribing was, and it takes effect at the end of the paid period. Lifetime licenses are a single payment and never renew. If your license expires, the Software keeps working with the features you had. What pauses until renewal: plugin updates, new art and garment drops, and support. Running unsupported software carries normal risks (compatibility and security drift over time), we recommend staying current, but we will never remotely disable a designer on your live store.

4. Payments, taxes & refunds

Checkout, subscription billing, invoicing, and applicable sales tax/VAT are handled by our e-commerce partner (Freemius) as reseller/merchant of record; their checkout terms apply to the transaction itself. 14-day money-back guarantee on any charge, first purchase or renewal, no questions asked, see the refund policy. Lifetime licenses are one-time purchases covering the lifetime of the product line for the licensed site. Promotional discounts (for example a founding-customer coupon) apply as described where they are offered; a discount that carries into renewals continues only while that subscription stays active, unchanged and uncancelled.

5. Support & updates

Active licenses include plugin updates and direct email support. We aim to respond within 1–2 business days. Support covers the Software; it doesn’t cover general WordPress site building, hosting issues, or third-party plugin conflicts, though we’ll point you in the right direction when we can.

6. Your responsibilities

  • Keep WordPress, PHP, and the Software reasonably up to date.
  • Content responsibility: you and your customers are responsible for having the rights to any text, images, or uploads printed through your store. The Software is a tool; we don’t review designs and aren’t liable for what gets printed.
  • If you enable AI art, you connect your own API key and your provider’s terms and costs apply.

7. Intellectual property

The Software, bundled art libraries, and bundled fonts are licensed for use within the designer on your licensed site and for producing physical goods for your customers. You may not extract and redistribute the art or font files as standalone assets. Your designs, your uploads, and your customers’ designs remain yours/theirs.

8. Warranty disclaimer & liability

The Software is provided “as is.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We’re a small company that makes a tool for print shops, not an insurer of your store’s revenue.

9. Termination for breach

We may terminate licenses used to violate these terms (piracy, redistribution, abuse of support). Termination for breach doesn’t entitle a refund outside the 14-day window.

10. Changes

We may update these terms; material changes will be posted here with a new “last updated” date. If a change materially affects your rights or obligations, we won’t assume you agree just because you kept browsing, we’ll ask you to accept the updated terms the next time you buy, renew, or sign in to your account.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules, and any dispute with us is brought in the state or federal courts serving Hamilton County, Tennessee. The purchase transaction itself is with Freemius and is governed by their checkout terms, including their dispute process. How we handle your data is covered by our privacy policy.
