Quote requests

How shops that price by the job sell with My T Maker, no cart required, on every plan.

Here is how it works on both sides of the counter.

The customer side

They design, tap the quote button, and fill the short form: name and email (required), phone, sizes & quantities, and notes. Done. No account needed. (A hidden honeypot field quietly eats the spam bots.)

What lands in your inbox

An email to the address set in Settings ▸ Quote email address, carrying:

  • The customer’s contact info, sizes, and notes, with Reply-To set so you just hit reply
  • One zip attachment with the full set of print files: front/back mockups, print-ready art, and on Advanced and Pro the vector SVG/PDF
  • A written summary of what’s on the shirt, garment, shirt color (with PMS + hex), every text line with its font and color, art used

The customer automatically gets a confirmation copy with their proofs attached, instant “we got it” without you lifting a finger.

You reply with a price like you would any lead. The design itself is stored on your site, so when they say yes, the artwork is already in hand, see Print files for what you can pull for production.

Where designs and leads are stored

  • Every quote request is archived on My T Maker ▸ Dashboard, the Designs list, with the same zip and files that were emailed, so a deleted email isn’t a lost job.
  • Design data stays on your WordPress site. Nothing goes through my servers.

Setup checklist

  1. Settings ▸ Quote email address, set the inbox you actually watch.
  2. That’s the whole setup, the form fields are fixed and sensible, nothing to build.
  3. Send yourself a test quote. If it doesn’t arrive in 2 minutes, install an SMTP plugin (WP Mail SMTP or similar), most hosts block default PHP mail. This is the #1 support issue and the fix takes two minutes.

Quotes + checkout together

Running WooCommerce checkout doesn’t turn quotes off. Plenty of shops run both: cart for the one-shirt buyer, quote for the 40-piece team order. The buttons coexist in the designer.
